Passed away peacefully at John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on June 6, 2011, Mrs. Jessie Marion Elliott of St. Anthony in her 85th year. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of memories daughters Audrey (John Pynn), Bonnie (Robert Campbell), and Judy (Melvin Learning); sons Ron (Hattie), Keith, Sam (Evelyn) and Ivan (Maxine); sisters Hazel (Mike Milner), Una (Garth Newman), and Virtue (Jerry Kean); 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a large extended family and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick, parents Leander and Florence Sulley, infant brother Joseph, infant sister Irene, sister May Baikie and foster brother Stuart Hillier. Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home followed by the funeral service which was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church with Rev. Ralph Moore and Lay Reader Bob Mesher officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
