Jacob “Jack” Wiebe
June 9, 1933 – May 31, 2011
Jacob was born in the McMahon, SK, area on June 9, 1933. In 1956, he married Elma Neufeld. They were blessed with four children: Don, Steve, Jacquie and Lowell. Jacob was truly a “Jack of all trades.” After moving to Cranbrook, BC, in 1986, he owned and operated Kootenay Shoe Repair until 2002. He also worked part-time for McPherson’s Funeral Services for several years. His main concern was that he and his family love and serve the Lord Jesus. Jacob was predeceased by his parents Peter and Susanna Wiebe, daughter-in-law Debbie and his sister Katherina Ulmer. Jacob is survived by his beloved wife, Elma; sons: Don (Monica), Steve (Carol), and Lowell (Jodine); daughter Jacquie (Doug) Pierce; grandchildren: Stephanie, Lydell (Ann), Miranda and Nate; sisters: Mary Giesbrecht and Helen (Paul) Klippenstein; many nieces nephews and several in-laws.
