Heaven is a little brighter today as it has been graced with the presence of a very dignified lady, Olive Pike. Olive passed away at home surrounded by her loving children on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at age 83. Predeceased by her loving husband Roy (1998) and granddaughter Bethany (2008). She leaves to mourn her children: Janice (Gerry), Chris (Raelene), Susan (Michael), Stephen (Susan), Karen (Jeremy) and Lisa (Ken); grandchildren: Meghan, Rebecca, Harrison, Ethan, Patricia, Richard, Miranda and Micheala, and great-granddaughter Brielle. Sister Ruth Williams. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Irma Hawkins; Nan and Dave Edwards, Peggy Pike, Frank and Rhoda Pike, Grace Gaudet. Best friends of 66 years Ruth Rossiter (Vince). Plus many, many other relatives and friends. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue, Tuesday, June 14th 10:00 a.m.-12 noon, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15th from 10:00 a.m.-12 noon. Please join us in a celebration of Olive’s life Wednesday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church, Military Road. Interment to follow at the Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
