Frances Margaret Coleman (Nee: Finlay)
1924-2009
Frances passed away on Sunday, September 6 in her 86th year. Frances was born at Cardross, Sask. in 1924. She married Carleton Coleman in 1943 and they farmed and ranched in the Dunkirk area until 1974. They resided in the Crestwynd area until moving to Moose Jaw in 1977. Predeceased by husband Carleton in 1988, mother and father Frank and Annie Finlay, brother Raymond Finlay, sister May Proto and brother -in-law Bill Proto. Survived by niece Shirley Grayson, nephews Ronald Proto, Frank Proto and Robert Finlay and sister-in-law Pearl Mead and many other relatives. At Frances’s request there will be no funeral. The family will be holding a small memorial tea at a later date. Those wishing to remember Frances may do so by donating to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, PO Box 1657, Stn.
