Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen’s Home, Carbonear on Thursday, June 9, 2011, Elizabeth M. “Mollie” Pottle of Job’s Cove, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband Absalom, daughter Shirley Tucker, son Gordon, son-in-law Lloyd Tucker, sisters and brothers. Left to mourn, three grandchildren, Gary Pottle (Stephanie), Alberta, Denise (Eddy) Oliver, Ontario and Darlene (Douglas) Hopkins, Burnt Point, Five great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Blanche Pottle, Job’s Cove and Annie Lewis , Charwood Manor, Carbonear. Also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. John Davis conducted the funeral service on Sunday, June 12 from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment took place in Faith United Cemetery, Job’s Cove.
