It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril Mullaly announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by two sons: Gary (Ying) of Nova Scotia and Glenn of Ontario; four daughters: Diane (Tiny) Blanchard, Lois (Bill) Pollock, Pattie (Norm) Lachance, all of Alberta and Bette (Ron) Armstrong of British Columbia; three sisters: Winnifred White of Stephenville, Ursula Wall of Northern Bay and Rita White of Alberta; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a large circle of very special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth Mullaly; brothers: Larry, Gus and Bill; and sisters: Eileen and Mary. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
