Muriel Frances Stuart
The death of Muriel Frances (Paczkowski) Stuart, 90, occurred suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
Born in Middle Sackville, she was a daughter of the late H. Roy and Mabel (Amos) Estabrooks..
Muriel had been a 60-year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Sackville and a lifelong member of the Middle Sackville Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts and puzzles and a s a fulltime homemaker throughout her life, had taken a keen interest in her family. She loved cats and had an amazing green thumb.
She will be sadly missed by two daughters, Madeline (David) Legere of Moncton and Florence (Stanley) Bowser of Fredericton; one son, Walter (Pamela) Paczkowski of Barrie, ON; six grandchildren, Michelle, Andrew, Lori, Katie, Justyn and Meghan; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Margaret Patterson of Sackville.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her stepmother, Florence Estabrooks, her firs husband John Paczkowski in 1986 and her second husband, Howard Stuart in 1992.
Muriel's arrangements have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) from where visitation was held 2-4 and 7-9p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011. A funeral service was held at the funeral home Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 2p.m. Pastor Vernon Vickruck officiated.
Following the service Muriel was laid to rest in the Four Corners Cemetery. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Sackville held a memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday at 7p.m.
Donations in Muriel's memory can be made to the Middle Sackville Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
