It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jody Penney announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the age of 35 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Kellie Penney; son Dawson; brothers: Daryl Payne (Verna), Warrick (Bernetta), Tex (Kim); sisters: Lisa (Fred), Sharon, Natalie Toba and Judy Park (Clarence); mother and father-in-law Dave and Alice Matthews; brothers-in-law Dave (Meg) Matthews, Wayne Hunt; sister-in-law Robyn (Joey) Park; life long friend Joey Lidstone, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Vivian and Myrle Penney, and sister Sherry Hunt. Cremation will take place at Humber Valley Crematorium in Pasadena. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Summerside on Saturday, June 18 at 2 p.m. Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Mental Health Society.
