Passed peacefully away on June 14, 2011, in his 92nd year. Leslie is predeceased by his first wife Marjorie and his second wife Josephine. Left to cherish their memories are his children: Lawson (Erika), Ottawa, Mary (Gerald Horlick), Mount Pearl, Ruby (George Harris), Harbour Grace, Thelma (James Snow - deceased), St. John’s, Curtis (Pam), St. John’s and Bruce (Michael Rochemont), British Columbia and their families; one sister Ruby Hickman (Wallace - deceased), St. John’s; also his step-family: Rita Herlidan (Rene - deceased), Lord’s Cove, Vivian Herlidan (John - deceased), Lord’s Cove, Lena Lambe, St. John’s, Joan (Cyril Dillon), St. John’s and Marie Herlidan, Mount Pearl and their families; together with a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
