WALLACE, DOROTHY A. (WOOD) (MURPHY) - (1949-2011) - SOUTH BRANCH, NB - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dorothy Wallace 62, of South Branch at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011. Born in Balla Philip, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and late Anne (Brown) Murphy. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her husband; Wayne Wallace, daughter; Carla Wood (Marvin) of Balla Philip, son; Royce (Blythe) of West Branch, two grandchildren; Ashley and Kyler, two step-daughters; Rhonda Saulnier (Terry) of Moncton and Trina Audit (Paul) of Pine Glen, five step-grandchildren; Ashley, Aaron, Breanna, Jordan and Corey, sister; Ruby Savoie (Ellis) of South Branch, two brothers; Bob Murphy (Gloria) of Upper Rexton, Joey Murphy (Wendy) of Rexton. She is also survived by three special aunts; Mary Brown, Marguerite Black, Kay Brown, uncle; Charles Brown, nieces; Bobbi Jo Lawson (Mark) and their boys Brody and Chase of Riverview, Michelle Warren (Rob) of South Branch, nephews; Dale Murphy (Janice) of Clairville, Brian Murphy of Moncton, nephew and Godson; Jody Savoie (Kara) of Saint John, special friends; Emma Hudson, Ann and Ralph Rouesselle, Bill and Mary Wood, Debbie Connors and Cathy Little. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband; Roy Wood (1992), step-father; Arnold Glencross (2011) and nephew; Tyson Murphy (1978).
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at 11:00, St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, South Branch. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
