The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, of Claire E. Bryant of Summerset Manor, wife of the late William Newcombe Bryant Jr., formerly of Enmore at the age of 81 years. She is the daughter of the late Frank Morgan and Esther (nee McLean). She is survived by sons and daughter Bill (Vanessa Jeffery) Bryant, Barbara (Peter) White and Bob (Donna) Bryant, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by in-laws Carol (Jim) Bryant of Summerside, Joan Bryant (late George) of Massachusetts, Judy (John) Dawber of Mass., Eva Decredico of Mass., and Evy (Paul) Rubner of New Hampshire. Besides her husband William and her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Barbara and Jean. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Friday, Sept. 11. Visitation is on Friday from 1 p.m. until funeral service at the funeral home at 2 p.m. followed by the burial interment service at Victoria West Peoples Cemetery.
