It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gloria Hilliard announce her passing on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sister Marilyn Connolly, brother-in-law Harvey (Eva) Hilliard, sisters-in-law Jessie, Lucy and Ethel Connolly, special friend Marina Allen, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Hilliard, 1984, parents Joseph and Susannah Connolly, brothers Danny, Edward (Ada), Pat and Leo Connolly. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10th at 2:00 PM from Curling Memorial United Church with Marilyn Avery officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Curling Memorial United Church.
