Passed away suddenly on his beloved motorcycle on Monday, September 7, 2009, Damien Smith, aged 29 years. Predeceased by his grandparents: Azariah and Daphne Smith and Roy Fost. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his fiancée Amy Flynn; parents Joan and Azariah Smith; sister Juanita (Boyd) Sharpe; brother Michael (Margaret Warren); special niece Annika Sharpe; Amy’s parents Eileen and Stephen Flynn; her brothers: Stephen and Joey; Damien’s aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, a large circle of friends, and his special companion his Labrador Retriever Izzy. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 10 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. A service to celebrate Damien’s life will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA.
