It is with sadness we wish to announce the passing of Earl Gordon Crowell, 87 of Cornerbrook, NL.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Hattie Crowell.
He served overseas in the RCAF during the Second World War. He worked many years with Employment Insurance.
Earl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Isabelle (Gillam); son, Tom (Adele), Halifax and John (Pat), St. John’s, NL; grandchildren, Amelia, Julia, Andrew and Stephen; brothers, Donald (Joyce), Halifax, George (Jean), Glace Bay; sisters, Vivian Morris, Sydney, Shirley (Ray McNabb), Sydney and Beth (Bill Noseworthy), Glace Bay.
He was predeceased by a brother, Roy; sisters, Phyllis Johnson and Audrey Cziboor.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 in Cornerbrook, NL.
