Wylie DeLeavey
DeLEAVEY, WYLIE - Mr. Wylie DeLeavey, 80, of Anfield, Victoria County, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 17, 2011. He was married to the former Betty McCluskey. Born at Blue Bell Station in 1931, he was the eldest child of the late Nicholas and Wilda (Johnston) DeLeavey. He is survived by his wife, two children, Michael (Danielle) of Anfield and Patricia DeLeavey of Edmonton, Alberta, two grandsons, Ryan and Nicholas, three brothers, Murray (Ann) and Lee (Dorothy) of Anfield and Emery (Lucy) of Campbellton, two sisters, Alvena Goodine (David) of Crombie Settlement and Donna Francoeur (Rino) of Anfield, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Glenna Henry.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 21st at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell with Father Curtis Sappier officiating.
