ADAMS, OLIN M. - 1929-2011 - Miramichi - Olin Malcolm Adams, husband of the late Dorothy Adams, of the Big Ferry Road, Miramichi and formerly of Lakeside Drive, passed away at his residence, on Saturday afternoon, June 18, 2011, at the age of 81. Born in Escuminac, on December 29, 1929, he was the son of Alma (Martin) and Charles Robie. He was a heavy equipment operator by trade and a retired employee of Kerr Construction Ltd. He was a member of St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi. He is survived by five daughters, Frances Savard (Joseph), of Miramichi, Mary Lou Arsenault (Wilfred), of Salisbury, Debbie McIntyre (Thomas), of Miramichi, Jaunita Williston (Blair), of Hardwicke, Lisa Robertson (Steve), of Miramichi; one son, Olin P. Adams (Elizabeth), of Miramichi; one half brother, Wayne Robie, of Orange County, California, USA; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Dorothy M. Thompson, on 2007; two half sisters, Shirley Trevors and Jean Robie; two half brothers, Edwin Robie and Irvine Williston.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Monday, June 20, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi, on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Gordon Thompson. Interment will be in St. Pauls Anglican Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
