The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, June 18, 2011, of Mrs. Shirley C. Corish of Charlottetown in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Corish and dear mother of Norma Jean (Tom) Renwick, Kevin, Shane and Heath (Janet). She is also survived by five loving grandchildren; Mitchell, Ashley, Bernadette, Selina and Billie and her sister Eileen (Dave) Livingston. No visitation or funeral service by personal request. A private committal service will be held in Mermaid Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
