Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, June 19, 2011, of Edith McKenna of Newtown Cross, aged 88 years. Loving sister of Myrtle McKenna. She was predeceased by her parents Charles A. and Mary Ellen (nee Roberts) McKenna and brothers Basil, Eugene and Joseph McKenna. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Michael’s Church Cemetery, Iona.
