MORITZ - Ronald Gottlieb of Gull Lake, SK passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Gull Lake Special Care Home at the age of 84 years. He was born on April 27, 1927 and attended Carricklea and Dama Schools. He worked at Central Sales for several years and drove school bus for 29 years. He also worked in the construction business driving truck and hauling gravel. Ronald was a member of the Elks for many years. He enjoyed collecting indian arrowheads, restoring cars and tinkering on anything mechanical. It was farming, though, that was his life's passion. It gave him great pleasure to watch his grain grow and tend to his cattle. He also enjoyed his weekly trips to Swift Current for Neufeld Auctions. Ronald is survived by his sister Elaine Haakenson; sisters-in-law Teresa Moritz and Carol Moritz; niece Eileen Haakenson; nephew Carl Moritz as well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Mike Moritz; brothers Gordon, Harold and Arnold Moritz and sister-in-law June Moritz. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
