The death occurred suddenly at his residence on Souris Line Road on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, of Billy Mallard, in his 81st year. Beloved brother of Agnes (Herbie) Cheverie, Susan Jenkins, Irene Coghill, Millie (Grant) Cheverie, Doris (Ray) Noble, Ethel (Jack) Leeming, Eunice (Karl) Ince, Gloria (Doug) Anthony, Eubie and Tom. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Harry and Minnie Mallard, sister, Edna Bain and sister-in-law, Loretta and brothers-in-law, Jack Coghill and Preston Jenkins. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Friday, 6-9 p.m., September 11, 2009, and Saturday morning 9 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Saturday morning, September 12, 2009, to St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church in Rollo Bay for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
