It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Ricks announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Madeline; children: Rick, Toronto; Louise (Brian), Grand Falls-Windsor; Michelle (Calvin), Toronto; Dexter (Olive), Toronto and Dwayne (Sandy), Toronto; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Sylvia Davis, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Steward and Prudence Ricks; son Arthur; sisters Esther, Violet and Ena, and brother Simon. Friends may visit St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Pollard’s Point on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Leggo officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
