At the Prince Edward Home on Monday, June 20, 2011, of Frank Barry “Sam” Parker, Charlottetown, age 87 years.
A veteran of the Second World War, Mr. Parker was a flight lieutenant who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, serving from 1942 to 1945.
Beloved husband of Vera (nee Rawson). Dear father of Robert (Hannah), Barry (Sally) and Kim (Catherine). Lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren Joel, Angela, Seth, Rebecca, Amy, Jesse, Ian, Averil and David, and by his great-grandson Declan. Brother of Shirley.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
