CAISSIE, ROSALIE - (1926 - 2011) - Rogersville - At the Foyer Assomption de Rogersville, on Monday, June 20th, 2011, at the age of 84, passed away Rosalie Caissie, wife of the Avie Caissie from Rogersville. She was the daughter of late Henry Caissie and the late Rosalie Richard Caissie. Her adoptive parents, the late Paul Richard and the late Marie-Rose Caissie. Rosalie was a resident of Le Foyer Assomption of Rogersville. She was a member of the Ladys Auxilarys, also Les Dames de l’Institut Chrétiennes, Liturgique Counsel, and the Legion of Mary. She also sat on the Assomption Shrine Comity. She is survived by seven children: Marianne (Edgard Bourque) from Shediac, Eva (Donald Cormier) from Scoudouc, Florida (Josephat Robichaud), André (Florine Johnson), Edouard (Géraldine) all from Rogersville; Henry from Moncton, Florant (Lise Caron) from Cormierville; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters: Imelda Lavoie, Mai Lavoie, Bernadette Duclos, Alice Hachey all from Rogersville and Madelaine Caissie from Montréal, also two brothers: David and George both from Rogersville. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Rosalie was predeceased by one son, Joseph and one grand-son Avis Caissie; also by two sisters: Béatrice Doiron and Irène Richard and two brothers: Ernerst and Medric.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends, Tuesday, June 21st, at 2pm, at the Salon ‘La Colombe’ 11325 rte 126, Rogersville. The funeral service will be held at the Saint-Francois-de-Sales RC Church in Rogersville, Wednesday, June 22 at 3pm. Visitation hours: Tuesday from 2pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm, and Wednesday from 1pm until departure for the funeral service.
