Veteran of WWII, and charter member of Catholic Women’s League at St. Pius X Church, Patricia Allston passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park Nursing Home on Saturday, June 18th, 2011, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by husband - Jack and son - John. Left to mourn are her children: David (Lynn), Mark (Colette), and Peter (Pamela); grandchildren: Thomas & Michael; brother Louis Riley; and daughter-in-law Maureen Wheeler, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends in Canada and England. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, June 20th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
