It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Decker announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009, in his 72nd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories of 46 years marriage, his wife Irene Pittman; son, Carl; daughter, Lois (Monty Gould); grandson, Brian Gould; his sisters: Christine (Terry Caines), Marion (Gerry Robar); his brothers: Phil (Louise), Coyley (Dora) and Irving (Linda); his brothers-in-law: Eric (Ella) Pittman, Bill (Gloria) Pittman and Dave (Audrey) Pittman; his sisters- in-law: Gladys Payne, Edna (Tom Tulk), Pauline (Gordon Payne) and Judy (Kevin Hickey); special father to Ella (Seymore Pittman). Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Emma Decker; brothers: Rex, Chesley, and Freddie and his nephew, Justin Caines. He also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Mathews Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour, today, Thursday, September 10th, 2009 from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and continuing on Friday, September 11th, 2009, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 at 3:30 p.m., Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Rocky Harbour.
