Jim passed away peacefully at his home in Belleville, ON, on July 30, 2009, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Glace Bay to the late Ronald and Margaret (Steele) Clare.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Grant; daughter, Tracey and four grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Joan, Ina, Clara, Carol and brothers, Roy, Wesley and Jack; sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Gordon.
A funeral service was held in Belleville, ON and the interment was held in Sackville, N.B. on August 8, 2009.
