John Joseph Marchand, 76 of Petit De Grat, formerly of West Arichat, passed away peacefully September 9, 2009 at home, with his loving daughter, Linda and friends by his side.
Born in West Arichat, he was a son of the late Alexander and Jane (Boudreau) Marchand.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Marchand (Roger), Sydney, who so tenderly took care of her dad, Jody Marchand, Ottawa; son, Derek Marchand (Leane), Sydney; grandchildren, Alicia, Derek, Colton and Ireland.
He was predeceased by sisters, Mildred, Stella, Jeanette, Dorothy and Blanche; brother, Edward.
As per John’s request, there will be no visitation or memorial service. Committal will take place in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat, at a later date.
