It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucille Elizabeth Sheppard announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the age of 96 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her brother, Carl (Kay) White, St. John’s. Sisters-in-law, Margaret, Ottawa, Charlotte, United States and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Henry Sheppard, her parents, Ralph and Artimese (Garnier) White, brothers, Willard and Herbert, sisters, Phonsina Lillian and Joan. Visitation took place at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George's on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 23rd at 2:00 p.m. with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
