At Western Hospital, Alberton on Tuesday June 21, 2011, of Wayne Joseph Griffin, Bloomfield, aged 71 years. Born in Brockton, Wayne was the son of the late Elmer and Georgina (nee O'Meara) Griffin. Survived by his cherished caregiver Theresa Arsenault (Dale Smallman), and her extended family, Wayne Oulton, Lisa Arsenault, Joyce Reeves and Michael Hagan. Brother of Frances Dykens and Howard (Olive) Griffin, both of Florida and Ann Burke, New York. Predeceased by parents, brothers Lyle, Adrian and Myles, step sisters Mary and Marjorie and step brother Steven. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30-10:15 a.m., then to St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, Burton, Lot 7 for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In Wayne's memory, donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
