It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Patrick Lawlor announce his passing on Wednesday June 22nd, 2011 at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 65 years. He was predeceased by his parents Tom and Leah Lawlor (nee: Boland), brother Tom and sister Margaret. He leaves to mourn his daughter Shannah (her mother Hannah) and two grandsons; brothers: Walter (Max) and Dianne Lawlor, Ontario, Mike and Beulah Lawlor, Trinity, Bonavista Bay, Stan (Bing) and Carmelettia Lawlor, Corner Brook; sisters: Mary & Charlie Desroches, Ontario, Jean & Henry Feltham, Trinity, Bonavista Bay, Joanne Brown, Corner Brook, Louise & Terry Petten, Corner Brook; uncles: Sandy, Walter and Roy Murphy; aunts: Genevieve (Gen), Joan and Ruby Murphy, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends including those in Spread Eagle, Trinity Bay. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 25th at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
