Passed suddenly but peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 10th, 2009 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Ann Stamp, age 86 years. Predeceased by her four sons: Eugene (1954), Jimmy (1989), Bob (2008) and Brian (2009). Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Joseph; her three sons: Gary (Goose Bay), Paul (Darlene) and Joey (Karen); one daughter Wynann (Bill Smith); daughters-in-law: Suzanne (Bob) and Gloria (Brian), also leaving to mourn 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Michael (Agnes), Vince (Uriel) and sister Lena (Clem Allard) and numerous relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at 12 Noon from Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
