Peacefully, with loving family by her side , at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday June 22, 2011, of Vera Elizabeth Morrison, aged 97 years, formerly of Conway, wife of the late Edgar H. Morrison. Born in Enmore, Dec. 13, 1913 Vera was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Matthews) Biggar. Cherished mother of Encil, Toronto; Erma (George) Williams, Tyne Valley; Donita (Albert) Folland, Ellerslie; Robert (Connie), Summerside; Mary Biggar, Ellerslie; Edith (Lea) MacLeod, Mount Pleasant and Georgie MacKenzie, O’Leary. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Edith Morrison, Summerside and Delores Neilson, Ellerslie. She is also survived by sister in law Edith Boyle, Summerside. Predeceased by parents, husband, son James, sons in law David Biggar, Malcolm MacKenzie, grandson JasonMacKenzie, sisters Marjorie ( Harold) Arsenault and Florence (Aubrey) Gallant, brothers Reginald and Edward Biggar. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Saturday at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment following the service in the Freeland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In Vera’s memory, donations to the Freeland Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
