It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gurney Fillmore announce his passing at his residence on September 10, 2009 at the age of 61 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his sister, Kathline of Quebec; two brothers: Brian (Emma) and Edward of Nova Scotia, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Ferne Fillmore. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers are gracefully accepted or memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice.
