WILLIAMS, Enid Vesta – 1913 - 2011. Passed away after a short illness, Enid Vesta Williams, aged 98 years. Enid was a kind and gracious lady who was a former teacher in several communities around Newfoundland in the 1930’s and 1940’s. She continued her career in St. John’s as a music teacher where she loved teaching piano to many beloved students from her home, until her retirement at the age of 89. Left with many wonderful memories are her loving husband Roy; son Dr. Robert (Grace) and daughter Elizabeth Smith. “Nanny” will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Dr. Brett, Nicky, Peter (Megan), Dr. Jennifer (Chris) Williams, Norman (Lahia) Levesque, Dianne (John) Desroisiers, as well as her five great-grandchildren: Abby and Molly Williams, Maddie Levesque, Ingrid and Annika Desroisiers, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family extends a sincere thank you to the staff of 4 South B at the Health Sciences Centre and a special thank you to Dr. Roger Butler for all his care and attention over the years and for his tremendous support during her recent illness.
