Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, June 25, 2011, of Mrs. Marlene Murphy (nee McKeeman) of Vernon Bridge, age 58 years. Beloved wife of John N. Murphy, dear mother of Monica (Matt) Lee and loving Nanny of Braydon Lee. She is also survived by her sisters and brother Gail (Merrill) Ross, Grant (Wendy) McKeeman and Susan (Pat) Hayes and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Anna (nee Clair) McKeeman; her brother Paul and her step mother Mabel McKeeman.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River for a memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or St. Joachim’s Cemetery fund.
