Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre on Friday, September 11, 2009, age 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill; sisters: Florence and Mary and special friend Leo Hogan. Leaving to mourn three sons: Doug (Paula), Sam (Dale) and Billy; four daughters: Barb Whitman (Reg), Linda Brown (Roland), Eileen Brown (Jack) and Kathy Guiney (Ron); three brothers: John, Ed and Bob; three sisters: Theresa, Christine and Yvonne; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; treasured friend and sister of our hearts, Jean Brown; also special friends Vivian Henry and Peter Mathioudakis, and her extended family Sharon, Linda and Peggy Hogan; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially her many dear friends at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 14 at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Rainbow Riders or the Dr. H.
