Marilyn Titus
TITUS, MARILYN - The death of Marilyn Honora Titus, loving wife of C. Blair Titus, occurred peacefully on Sunday June 26, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1943 in Saint John she was predeceased by her parents King Kerr and Marie “Nora” (Bougeois) Gower. Marilyn worked as an Assessor for the Service New Brunswick for 20 years. She was a member of the New Brunswick Association of Assessing Officers; Bridge Club and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband Blair of 44 years, she is survived by her son Mark Titus (Beth); daughter Krista Kauffman (Chris); grandchildren Emily Titus, Anna Titus, Cooper Kauffman, William Kauffman and Evan Kauffman; brother Peter Gower; sisters Elaine Ferguson (Carl), Ann Marie Fleming (Larry) and Linda Laurence (Gary); three aunts Rita Hynes, Theresa Cormier and Marion McCarter; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitations by request. Following cremation, A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church, 201 Bayside Drive, Saint John on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 12:05 p.m. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marilyn made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
