Passed away peacefully after a short illness, Alfred James Janes (Corp). He is survived by wife Bernice, son Courtney (Jackie Casey) of Golden, B.C., daughter Natalie (Keith Power) of Paradise, N.L., and four precious grandchildren: Liam, Emma, Evan, and Ella. Also left to mourn are brothers: Steve (Pat) of St. John’s, Fred (Anne) of Grand Falls; sisters: Jean Knibb (Fred), Deanna Bartlett (Ray) of Port Elgin, Ont., and Sandra Thomson (Frank) of Grand Falls. At Corp’s request cremation has already taken place. A memorial Mass to be held in Holy Rosary Church, Pasadena on July 2nd, at 10:30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
