Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank, on June 24, 2011, Dora Ruth Rose of Grand Bank, age 74 years. Predeceased by husband Garfield and son Everett. Leaving to mourn: Daughter Judy(Dave)Osmond of Grand Bank; Son Cyril(Beverley) of Fortune; Daughter-in-law Elaine Rose of Grand Bank; Grandchildren Rhonda, Adam, Aaron, Ryan, Alison and Andrew; Great Grandchildren Austin and Addison; Sister, Margaret Engram of Fortune; Brothers, Roy(Nina) Dominie of Harbour Breton and Eli(Darlene) Dominie of Pool's Cove. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Tim Graham from St. Alban's Anglican Church, Grand Bank at 2pm on Monday, June 27th. Interment followed at St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Grand Bank. Organist was Velma Stewart. Pall Bearers were: Roy Dominie, Eli Dominie, Eric Kendall, Guy Rose, Riley Scott, Ryan Rose, Nick Dominie and David Matthews.
