Pauline Deveaux
It is with deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude that we, the family of the late Pauline Deveaux, wish to express our sincere thanks to all our family and friends for the support shown to us during mom’s illness and passing. Your compassion was truly appreciated. For those who expressed their condolences by means of telephone calls, visits, sympathy/mass cards, facebook/text messages, e-mails, offered masses, made memorial donations or sent food; your generosity was recognized...A special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit who visited or called to make sure that mom was comfortable. Your words of comfort meant a lot to us. And to the staff at New Waterford Consolidated Hospital; a place mom called “home” for the last 6 weeks of her life. The little wink in her eye showed that she appreciated all that you did for her. Thank you most heartedly to the great nurses, who took care of mom and accommodated our family in our time of need. It will never be forgotten. To Father Gerald Campbell who officiated the memorial mass. You really made it personal. To the readers and the choir and all who participated in her memorial mass; she would have been pleased. Thank you to the ladies at the Carmel Centre who provided us with the lovely lunch. To the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home. Your compassion and professionalism helped us through a very difficult time. And finally, to mom’s group of lady friends who walked this journey with her over the past few months; we are truly grateful for all that you did for her. We will forever be grateful for the kindnesses shown to us.
