Stephenville

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerard Roy Churchill Dennis announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, June 30th, 2011 at the age of 69 years. He will be sadly missed by his son, Wade (Joanne) Dennis of Labrador City, one daughter, Glenda Dennis (Charles Foote Jr.) of St. George’s and very special friend, Pauline Price of Stephenville, one brother, Graham (Theresa) Dennis of St. George’s, four grandchildren: Tiffany, Donovan, Dylan, Raeanna and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruby Dennis (nee Cutler), parents, Garnett and Amelia Dennis. Visitation took place on Friday, July 1st from 7-9 p.m. at St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church in St. George’s. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church in St. George’s with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the ALS Society would be greatly appreciated.
