WESTVILLE - Alice Blanche Wilson, age 93, of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Westville and Tancook, Lunenburg Co., passed away Monday, September 14, 2009, in Glen Haven Manor.
Born in Tancook Island, she was a daughter of the late Stedman and Hosie (Hutt) Wilneff.
She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, New Glasgow. She lived in Louisbourg for several years, before moving to Wadden’s Trailer Court, Westville.
She is survived by a daughter, Laurena Pyle (Norman), Rochester, NY; a son, Wayne, Toronto; six grandchildren: Dana Pyle, Tim Wilson, Troy Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Wayne Brooks Wilson and Crystal Shaw; seven great-grandchildren; also daughter-in-law, Lillian Shaw, New Glasgow; and two sisters, Mabel Crooks, Chester, and Bertha Hudson, Bridgewater.
She was predeceased by her husband, Percy H. Wilson; and seven brothers and sisters.
Visitations will be held Thursday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with Helen Christie officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester.
