Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, July 2, 2011 of Mrs. Margaret Catherine "Marg" Coffin (nee Vessey) of Charlottetown and her summer home at Canoe Cove in her 88th year.
Beloved wife of the late Hubert "Hub" Coffin. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Katherine Pelot, Theresa Vessey, brother-in-law Stewart Wakelin, nieces and nephews Ronalda (David) Power, Travis (Janice) Wakelin, Kevin Wakelin, Peter Honderich, Paul Honderich, Patti Carruthers, Colleen Honderich, Tommy Honderich, grand-nephews Matthew and Jared Power, grand-nieces Jessica, Emalee and Courtney Wakelin, and Natalie Kruschack.
She was predeceased by her parents Ronald and Mary (McGaughey) Vessey, brothers Clarence "Tut" Vessey, Ronald "Babe" Vessey, sisters Mary "Bebes" Gormley, Gladie Wakelin and special friend Stan Ross.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Tuesday morning, then transferred to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Lupus P.E.I., the P.E.I. Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
