Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Friday, July 1, 2011, of Gerry Carragher of Charlottetown and formerly of Stratford, age 77 years.
Beloved husband of Betty Carragher (nee Trainor) and loving father of Kathy Clow (Gordie), Patsy Fullerton (Barney) and Dawn Jewell (Edwin).
Gerry will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Jeffery and Lindsay Clow, Sarah and Katie Fullerton and Emily, Jordan and Alana Jewell; brothers, Frank (Edith - deceased), Ralph (Mary) and George (Patsy); sisters-in-law, Marie Carragher, Mary Carragher, Pearl Trainor (Ernest - deceased), Kay Jay (Donnie - deceased) and Joyce Hann (Garfield - deceased) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Estella Carragher, sister Helen Keefe, brothers Eugene (Rita - deceased), Leo and Louis and his brothers-in-law, Les Keefe and Louis and Basil Trainor.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Monday, July 4, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 5, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
