Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Home, Thursday, June 23, 2011, Hannah (Rogers) Collins, age 93 yrs. Predeceased by her husband Fred in 2006; children Edna Pearl, Joseph Lorne and Minnie Marie; brother Nelson Roger; sisters-in-law Jane Rogers and Julia Holloway; brothers-in-law Herbert Winters and Arthur Holloway, great-granddaughter Sarah Mackey and sons-in-law George Best and David Friday. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Jane (Cecil Reid), Marina Friday, Stephen (Neta), Shirley (Peter Byrne), Dorothy (Henry Glover), Linda (Byron Collins), Nelson (Theresa), Clarence (Lotus), Hedley (Lorraine), Ivan (Mary), and Deborah (Larry Hapgood); thirty-four grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; sisters Minnie Winters and Dorothy (Jack Ackerman) and brother Felix Rogers (Frances) and a number of relatives and friends. Funeral took place at Faith United Church, Glovertown on Monday, June 27, 2011 with Rev. Paul Vardy officiating. Interment followed at the United Church cemetery.
