Constance A.M. Knudson

Surrounded by her loving family, the death of Connie KNudson (nee Shannon) wife of Terence (Terry) M. Knudson occurred on July 3, 2011, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saint John, N.B. on November 4, 1932.Besides her husband she is survived by her six sons: Robert (Deborah) of P.E.I., James (Michelle) of Alberta, Ric (Viola) of Ontario, Stephen (Julie) of Ontario, Michael of New Brunswick and Andrew (Gerri Lynn) of P.E.I.; special cousin Terry Breen of New Brunswick; half brother Terry Burke (Thelma); half sisters Barbara MacKenzie, Colleen McQuade, Peggy Fowler (Jack), Debbie Burns (Tim); 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandmother, Mrs. Ethel (Nan) Walton, and Thomas Walton; special aunt and uncle Mary and John Breen; half brothers Vincent Burke (Josephine) and Donny Burke (Bonnie).
Connie was very active in sports in her younger years including badminton, tennis and bowling in her later years.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John ((506) 646-2424) on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Rockland Road on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 12 noon. Private family interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
