May 28, 1959 - July 2, 2011

It is with sadness we announce passing of Tammy on July 2nd, 2011. She passed away peacefully with family at her side after a courageous 11 year battle with Multiple Myeloma.

She will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends.

Tammy was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Gladys Foisy.

Tammy was born on May 28, 1959 in Merritt, BC to Wilf and Gladys Foisy (nee Follack), where she lived until she completed her school years, graduating from Merritt Secondary School. Eventually settling in Kamloops, she went to college, achieved her Medical Transcriptionist Certificate and worked at Royal Inland Hospital for 10 years until she became ill. Tammy was an avid traveler and was not afraid to venture out to many different countries.

She was very involved with her Church, in the choir and the Catholic Women's League. Tammy will always be remembered for her strong faith that kept her positive throughout her illness. She touched the lives of many people with her kindness, understanding and generosity.

She amazed everyone with her courage and above all her acceptance of life's trials without complaint.

Forever In Our Hearts

Vigil will be held at St. John Vianney Parish, 2826 Bank Rd, Kamloops, BC, on Thursday July 07, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., and 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 08, 2011 with the Funeral Mass celebrated in the Church at 1:00 pm. Following the service, Tammy will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of donor's choice would be appreciated.
