The passing of Mr. Wilfred Neis, occurred on Sunday, September 13th, 2009 at Saskatoon City Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. with family by his side. Wilf was born in Prince Albert, SK., raised by his parents George and Sarah Neis at Neis' Beach, Emma Lake. This is where Wilf and Jean raised their family and operated the beach resort. During his lifetime Wilf was well known for his sense of humour. He was also well remembered for his many acts of kindness and generosity. He has left many lasting memories for his family and friends. Wilf was predeceased by his wife Jean (2005); daughter Janice Hadubiak (2007) and sister Peggy Carruthers. He is survivied by his children Dough and Karen (Brandon & Donna), Derek and Renee (Kayle & Megan), Jill (Christopher & Kelsey); son-in-law Greg Hadubiak (McKenzie). Wilf is also survived by his brother Bob (Joyce) Neis and many nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Hillcrest Funeral home (east on 8th street, turn right before railway crossing) on Friday, September 18th, 2009 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Wilf's life would be honoured by any act of kindness to others or charity of your choice.
