ELLISON, ROBERT DYMOND - Robert Dymond Ellison, 75, of Riverdale Manor, and formerly of Berwick, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 6, 2011. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Roy and Gladys (Dymond) Ellison. Bob retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in 1979, receiving the United Nations Medal (Cyprus), the United Nations Emergency Force Medal (Middle East), and the Canadian Forces Decoration & Clasp. He is survived by his sons: Michael of Calgary, and Rob of Vancouver; his sister, Mrs. Walter Perry (Harriett) of Sussex, as well as by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Pauline McEwen, and his brother, Roy Ellison.
As per Bob’s wishes, a private family service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Sussex Select Funeral Home.
