Donald Bernard MacMillan, 73, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2011, in Barrie, Ont. with family by his side.
Formerly from New Waterford, Don enlisted in the air force at an early age. He had a special interest in computers and volunteered his time to help others with computer problems. Don had a spectacular sense of humour and was loved and respected by all.
PapaDon is lovingly survived by his children, Lisa Pinto (Victor) and Greg (Syla); their mother, Betty MacMillan; grandchildren, Baylie, Abby, Jack, Maya and Joshua and by sister, Sita Burke (Gary).
Don was predeceased by parents, Angus and Agnes (Boudreau) MacMillan and younger brother, Mike.
Fondly remembered by a special aunt, Kaye MacKinnon; his many nieces, nephews, close friends and fellow Kiwanians. Don was an integral member of the Kiwanis Club of Barrie, past president and recognized as a life member in 2007.
Funeral service was held at St. John Vianney Parish, Barrie, on Friday July 8, 2011.
